Vintage Kent Moore Automotive Garage Lectrotest Electric Gas-Per-Mile Fuel Gauge
Model J-4866A This is a vintage "Lectrotest Electric Gas-Per-Mile Guage". Made by
the Kent Moore Organization. It is part number J-4866A. Kent Moore made
tools and equipment for General Motors dealers. The directions for use
are on a tag on the front of the tester. It has a metal case with a
glass cylinder inside. After connecting fuel hoses o the vehicle you
would use the lever on the front to either " Fill - Run - Test". You
fill the glass cylinder with a measured amount of fuel then run to check
the mileage. Also has a switch on the front for 6 or 12 volt. Looks
like you hang it on the window and run the long hoses to the engine and
connect. Has the original wiring to connect to the battery. All the
wiring and battery clips are in excellent condition. Looks like
you could actually still use this if you wanted! The metal body is 9 inches wide, 8 high and 4 inches deep. I am not sure what this is but I can not find many around. Please see pics
