This very good condition General Electric Automatic Dry Iron is from the 1950's or earlier. The braided fabric cord has seen better days. It is catalog # 149F13. WATTS 1000 VOLTS 115. The model is called Automatic. There is a garment setting dial for Rayon, Silk, Wool, Cotton and Linen. The handle and thumb rest are Bakelite. The iron measures 9 1/4 inches in length and 4 3/4 inches across. There is very little pitting and is very clean. Do not know if the unit works. Was afraid to test because the condition of the cord.
