ac brief -

The Blackburn Buccaneer was a British low-level strike aircraft serving with the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force between 1962 and 1994. Designed and initially produced by Blackburn Aircraft at Brough it was later known as the Hawker Siddeley Buccaneer.
Its astute design featured a relatively small wing, ideal for high-speed low-level flight, a two-seat carrier-based aircraft that could carry a nuclear weapon, it also featured new radar capability. It proved to have all the requirements and was a highly revered plane with all who operated with it. Its long range, high speed, strike / attack / abilities saw it used for a variety of roles including reconnaissance.
The aircraft saw service with the Raf and the Fleet Air Arm on HMS Victorious, Eagle, Ark Royal and Hermes.
