Do not use Butea Superba if:

• You are highly allergic to some other herbs or herbal remedies.

• You have been advised by your doctor to avoid sexual activity because of heart problems (take it seriously).

• You are taking nitroglycerin (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, Minitran, Deponit, Transderm-Nitro)

• You are taking isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate)

• You are taking isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket)

• You have other major chest pain or heart related problems. Be safe and do not experiment with strong BSC extract if your medical condition doesn't allow it.

Do not use chemical medicines or treatments for erectile dysfunction while you are taking BSP. It may have an adverse effect to alternative natural treatment or to your other chemical treatment.

Other Precautions

• BSP does not stop the spread of HIV or other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) to others through sexual contact. Use barrier methods of birth control (condoms) if you have HIV infection or an STD.

Side effects

None.  What may happen after first few dosage is increased blood flow and it may cause flushes in your face. People who have or suspect having peptic ulcer may experience bloating and abdominal fullness during first 2-3 weeks.  In case of peptic ulcer, you can start with 500mg per day for first 2-3 weeks. After 2-3 weeks time period increase to 1000mg per day.
