Rare Victorian Frances Ware satin art glass ice cream set by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., 1863-1887. (Also known as Francis Ware.)
Large tray: 14" Length x 9 1/2" Width 2" Height Twelve Individual dishes: 5 1/2" Square
Made in Wheeling, West Virginia circa 1880's. Frances Ware was named for Frances Cleveland, the wife of President Grover Cleveland. DS #4146-34 There is one repaired chip in the tray (see red dot). Minor flaws on small bowls are all marked in photographs; overall Very Good condition. Note: Price is for all 13 pieces!
