Rare 19th Century German cut crystal vase with .800 silver collar rim.
Made in Munich by the firm of Eduard Wollenweber, father and son, celebrated goldsmiths.
This firm was very highly respected by their important customers including King Ludwig II (1845-1886).
The firm made, among other things, the urn for King Ludwig's heart upon his death. (King Ludwig built the castle which served as the model for Disney World's famous castle.)

There are numerous fleabites on the outside edge of the sharp vertical bands on the outside of the vase. Otherwise no cracks or repairs.
