Rare Rosenthal figurine "Dancer." Designed in 1913 by Erna Freifrau Von Lagenmantel-Reitzenstein. Born 1890 in Stuttgart, she was the daughter of painter Ludwig Von Hertrich. She designed at that time two more similar "Dancer" figurines.
The Rosenthal mark indicates that this one was created in the Art Department (Konstabteilung) and was made in Selb, Bavaria, Germany.
It was made between 1913 - 1939. The impressed mark shows it to be Model 207/I, the word Handgemalt indicates hand-painting (and glaze). 6" Height x 5 1/4" Side to Side 4 3/4" Front to Back Weighs 1 lb, 3.6 oz. DS #3663-36
It is in near mint condition with no chips, cracks, fleabites, repairs, or discoloration, despite its age.
