This is vintage bulgarian hand sickle.It was used in 1950-1960s` during the socialistic period in Bulgaria.This hand sickle is marked with "№ 11".Also there is character "A"  on the wooden handle which is probably the first character of owners name.There is engravings on both side of the hook (see photos).
During that time the symbol of socialism was Hammer & Sickle.The two tools are symbols of the industrial proletariat and the peasantry; placing them together symbolizes the unity between industrial and agricultural workers. This emblem was conceived during the Bolshevik Revolution.
Measures: Length with handle - 39 cm, Length of the blade - 30 cm
