This is a shell case only. You take your electronics out of your old broken key, and put them into this new key shell. Are all your buttons wore out? Then this is your quick fix.
Did you try to change the lithium battery, and couldn't get the case to snap back together?
I know they say that the battery is supposed to last 5 to 10 years. Good luck. Maybe if you don't use the car that much. I also have the whole new key that you have to take to the locksmith to get cut, then you can do the 30 minute programming yourself.
