This unique digital radio starts FM from 70.0MHZ, most of Campus radio station can be tuned in within this range. The KA1102 can decode SSB Single Side Band broadcasts through it's SSB circuitry, 1 kHz tuning steps and clarifier.  A narrow filter setting better separates stations on the crowded shortwave bands or with SSB use and a wide filter setting provides better audio fidelity. The Model 1102 has 190 memory positions (10 pages of 19 / page 10 is used to allow SSB use) to store your favorite stations.

 

The entire radio case is only 5.6 x 3.7 x 1.25 inches (143 x 88 x 29 mm) or about the size of a small book.   Packed into this small package are numerous premium features:  Including 3 AA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries which can be run off an included AC adapter.  Also included is an wrist carry strap; protective carry pouch; detachable wire antenna (in addition to the self contained telescopic antenna).  The entire package is highlighted by an attractive and easy to read backlight LCD display.
