CF Mag Stripe Reader Card, Type II. CompactFlash Magnetic Card (MSR) that reads data from 1, 2, or 3 track magnetic stripes on ID cards, driver's licenses, credit cards, medical cards and other identity documents. The MSR works with a variety of standard mobile computers and turns a Windows Mobile device or Windows Tablet with CF/PC card slot into a portable Point of Sale (POS) Terminal. The data is captured by the Windows application by simply swiping a card through the MSR. The Socket MSR provides a flexible and economical alternative to expensive all-in-one POS devices that are bulky and heavy.
