Product Description
Gruen Precision Triple Chronograph wristwatch with "Start", "Stop" and
"Return" buttons. The movement is Gruen factory Grade 795ss, basic
model is Valjoux 7736, 17 jewels, 2 buttons, stem wind and set. The
watch has a black dial with one-fifth seconds tachometer, a constant
seconds dial and a 12-hour count dial. The watch has a two-tone
fold-over Gruen bracelet. The buckle is signed, "Gruen". The watch winds
and sets correctly and is running with a good motion.
Gruen and Rolex use some of the same movements-the best known examples
are the Gruen Techi-Quadron and its twin, the Rolex Prince. In reality,
these movements were manufactured by a third company, Aegler, who was a
very close neighbor to the Gruen Precision Factory.
