Unger Brothers Victorian Sterling&Cut Glass Heart Shaped Lay Down Perfume Flask
Pretty and useful! Laydown heart shaped perfume flask by Unger Brothers (1872 - 1914), circa 1890 - 1900. It is cut glass with a sterling top, which is lined with cork. It has been used not long ago; you can still smell perfume in it. It is marked with the "UB" of Unger Brothers and "Sterling 925 Fine". The screw-on lid has a monogram, either "H" or "J C" depending how you read it.
The flask measures 4 inches long by 3 inches wide. It weighs 5 oz (shipping weight under 1 lb)
Very good, no dents in the silver or chips or cracks in the glass save for a tiny, invisible fleabite near the pointy end of the heart. It's in the photos but you won't be able to spot it. There is also a tiny dark spot in one side of the glass which is due to an inclusion inside the glass; this is from the making and is not uncommon in antique glass.

Our US shipping policy goes like this:
USPS First Class Mail for small packages that weigh less than 12 oz.
USPS Priority Mail for lightweight orders that fit in a box 12" square and under.
USPS Parcel post or UPS Ground for heaver and larger items that weigh more than a pound or fit in a box 14" square and over.
Paintings, prints and other large pieces are shipped using the best carrier on a case by case basis.
We will always combine shipping wherever possible.
