Serial # 540218 I won this at an auction---When I plug it in with the lid closed the ribbon turns smoothly and the light shines very bright. If I open the lid the ribbon keeps turning, but the light goes out (LOOKS LIKE THIS IS THE WAT ITS SUPPOSED TO WORK)---The case very small dents (hardly noticeable)- If you look at the pictures you will see the fascia has some broken pieces (This is where it says the secretary on most of these machines), this does not effect the functions of the machine, it looks like a purely cosmetic defect. -There are white streaks on if on cover that can be seen in the photos. It does have a service sticker that was installed in 2003--Also the clear ribbon on the machine is in good shape, but it does have some small black spots on it that may need cleaned or possible a new ribbon --From What I understand the stuff had been stored for 6 years, so the last service was about two years before the last use. I am honest and this is a machine I am not familiar with. I have done my best to describe it honesty and thoroughly . If you have questions I have not answered please let me know and I will answer you. I can probably take a short video of it running and email it to you if necessary. I already have an open offer locally on this machine, but I want to try it on Ebay because I need the feedback. So here are the terms. This is an expensive heavy item to ship. If the machine does not work or anything is wrong that I could not see I will warranty this item, but it has to be returned within 14 days for a full credit and half the shipping costs for you to send it back to me.
