One book has a flowers and a heart on the front and says "The Way to Hug" and the other book has flower and says "Bride's Cook Book". The book with the heart has a chipped spot on the heart where the glaze and paint chipped, one corner has a very small chip as well and there are two brown spots on the top that are under the glaze so I think that is a manufacturing flaw. The heart book has two holes on the side. The Bride's cook book has three holes in the side. Both shakers are crazed. Both shakers are missing their stoppers. Both shakers are marked "Japan" on the unglazed bottom. No cracks or repairs. Vintage circa 1940's-1950's. Approx 2.5 inches by 2 inches.     Stands and rulers are photo and visualization aids only and are not included with shipment.
