This photo is from Andre's private album, a true celebration of the sweet innocent Norma Jeane as she has never been seen before until De Dienes himself died in 1985. PHOTOGRAPH HISTORY: This beautiful vintage MM photo was photographed in 1945 and printed by the Andre De Dienes Estate in 1992. The gelatin silver photograph is an 11" x 14" enlargement on oversize double weight semi gloss fiber paper and printed in a genuine darkroom from the photographer's original negative. In 1945, Andre de Dienes was one of the very first and most acclaimed photographer's to photograph the innocent and sweet 19 year old Norma Jeane Dougherty at the beginning of her pre film career until her untimely death as the most famous Iconic Screen Goddess, Marilyn Monroe. After the passing of Andre De Dienes, his wife Shirley commissioned the professional printing of an extreme Limited Edition of her late husband's original negatives. Most of these photograph's have never been seen before. To validate these photographs, Shirley personally signed and stamped them with Andre De Dienes' personal studio stamps. These have sold for as much as $2500-$5000 at other auction houses.
