It is not made from pinewood. It is stained in an Oak Finish and sealed with a heavy CLEAR SEAL. It had Heavy Duty Legs and 4 nice stylish hooks at the top for hanging your hats and coats. It spins/Turns at the top. You will not be disappointed in this Unique Quality Coat Rack. It comes unssembled packed very well. It only takes about 5 minutes to put together. Very easy.
