THE CMOS BATTERY FOR THIS MODEL REQUIRES A SMALL COIN CELL BATTERY WITH HORIZONTAL SOLDER TABS PERPENDICULAR TO EACH OTHER ALLOWING THE SMT BATTERY TO BE SOLDERED TO THE MOTHERBOARD TO IT'S PRINTED CIRCUIT LAYOUT. THE SOLDER TABS WILL REQUIRE SOLDERING TO THE MOTHERBOARD PADS FOR BOTH NEGATIVE AN POSITIVE POLARITIES. THE BATTERY WILL HAVE THE POSITIVE POLARITY (+) DEMARCATION FOR CORRECT POLARITY ORIENTATION TO THE MOTHERBOARD. USAGE OF A VOLTMETER WOULD AID THE ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN/OR EQUIVALENT, TO UNDERTAKE THE TASK FOR REPLACEMENT. THE BATTERY MEASURES 3 VOLTS.
