This is a brand new pram battery that for your Apple powerbook Pismo and Lombard G3 series. You would need to replace your pram should the clock settings, and or date are no longer current. Replacement should be every 2 years but depends on usage from user to user can vary the Lifespan of the pram. Replaces Apple P/N 616-0108 that is no longer in circulation, nor can it be purchased from Apple. Some third party supply centers might have these, but they are quite old or older than what you currently have in your Powerbook. These are third party units with fresh date code 9/2009.
