THE RESTAURANT
Traditionally the center of Italian
social life, the piazza offers guests a gathering place to enjoy the
ambiance, to take a break from shopping and playing to watch street
performances by wandering minstrels and listen to an aria or two.
ENOTECA SAN MARCO is Mario and
Joe Bastianich's version of the idyllic Italian enoteca set amidst The
Venetian's delightful Piazza San Marco. Traditionally the center of
Italian social life, the piazza offers guests a gathering place to enjoy
the ambiance, take a break from shopping and playing, to watch street
performances by wandering minstrels and listen to an aria or two.
ENOTECA SAN MARCO's menu is
diverse and decadent, flexible and full of variety. Antipasti range
from dishes like Rock Shrimp with Ceci Beans and Arancine (lightly
fried, Sicilian-style balls of risotto) to Prosciutto di Parma and spicy
Finocchiona from Armandino Batali's (Marios dad!) salumeria in Seattle.
Executive Chef Zach Allen has perfected the ideal version of thin,
crisp Neapolitan-style pizza and presents over 15 varieties, including
classics like Margherita and creative, new selections like Vongole with
fresh clams.
The wine experience at ENOTECA SAN
MARCO is geared toward exploration and discovery. We offer a
value-priced wine list, including 100 bottles under $100. We're also
pleased to offer selections by the quarter-liter carafe and options from
the Enomatic Wine System which allows guests to try premium wines in
small tastes rather than commit to a larger serving size or bottle.
If you're looking for the typical
Italian midday dolci, look no further. Our coppettas are the Italian
answer to sundaes—layers of gelato and seasonal ingredients arouse your
senses with flavor and texture. Paired with an espresso or sweet
dessert wine, you've now successfully rounded out your authentic Italian
meal, Molto Vegas-style.
