This is a Near New Matched Pair (2 tubes) of Vintage Legendary RCA Black Plate Single "O" Side Getter "Holy Grail" 6L6GC  TONE Tubes in Original Boxes!  These are considered by many as the Ultimate Guitar Tube. This is a very nice near new set both with the same mfr's code "BQ" (August 1967). Fully tested and in Excellent looking and functioning condition!  These were manufactured by RCA in August 1967 and have exactly identical construction with black plate chimneys, a side "Ring" getter behind excellent thick silver flashing, 6-hole black plates, 22-contact point translucent top and bottom mica, clean glass, nice tight bases with no cracks or looseness and very good logos on both. (Does not include original box)  — misplaced We've amp tested these and they sound Fantastic! Absolutely one of the best sounding 6L6 tubes ever made! A smooth old time tone only available from vintage RCA tubes (the sound from imports does not even come close). They live up to their well deserved reputation and are highly desired by audiophiles and musicians alike! Guaranteed as  stated - you will not be dissapointed! We visually inspected them for flaws (none) and twice tested each for shorts (none), grid leakage (none), Micromhos (Gm) and Current Draw (ma). These test strong AS NEW - Very Closely Matched in Gm and Current Draw as follows (where 3000gm 30ma = minimum)....   Tube 1 = 5050 Gm 45 ma  Tube 2 = 5000 Gm 45 ma Test Note: All tests results above were obtained using 400v plate voltage.
