Item# TNHRML007M THIS IS OUR NEW GLYCERITE TINCTURE FORMULA! As requested, we no longer use vinegar as a preservative in this product, and now use glycerin as a preservative. Our new glycerite tincture contains 740 mg of harmaline in 2 liquid drams (7.4 ml). The liquid base is formulated using food grade vegetable glycerin and purified drinking water. Each 1 ml dropper full (approximately 28 drops) contains 100 mg of harmaline. Each drop contains approximately 3.5 mg of harmaline. Note that these figures are expressed as freebase harmaline. The tincture contains harmaline as harmaline acetate which is 1.28 times heavier (meaning the tincture actually contains 947 mg in the form of harmaline acetate, but we give the number as 740 mg which is expressed as freebase harmaline). Unlike similar extracts on the market our tincture contains only pure harmaline and does not vary in concentration. Harmaline is one of the main alkaloids found in Peganum harmala and almost absent from Banisteriopsis caapi. It glows in black light (UV light) and is useful for creating psychedelic artwork meant to be viewed in black light. The other major alkaloid found in Peganum harmala is harmine. Virtually all the harmine has been removed from this product. Our harmaline freebase is extracted from Peganum harmala using a 100% food grade non-toxic extraction procedure that is environmentally friendly. We use only pure drinking water and non-toxic food grade ingredients suitable for cooking. Description: when diluted many times in acidic water, harmaline glows bright blue in UV light and is used to make water paint for black light special effects. Recommended Usage: Harmaline is for use as a coloring additive which fluoresces in UV light. When highly diluted, harmaline is nearly colorless but still fluoresces brightly in black light. Harmaline is great for creating fluorescent water colors used in black light art projects. For use as a fluorescent coloring additive dissolve 2 droppers completely in 10 ml or more of warm water prior to use. If not dilute enough, fluorescence is hindered. Once diluted, it may be adding to water based paints, water based inks, etc. Harmaline may also be used as a fluorescent pH indicator (as the pH increases the fluorescence of harmaline decreases). Storage: keep in a dark cool air tight container free from moisture. If storing for extended periods of time, it should be kept in the refrigerator. Keep out of reach of children.
