Antique Victorian 1800s Photo Album Full 42 Pictures Red Velvet York, PA.

Most pictures were taken by Shadle & Busser 20 S. George Street

Between 1887-1902,

This album is packed full with 42 Pictures. Most of them are on cabinet cards which were used mostly 1870-1900.

However the people in some of the pictures were photographed much earlier.

When you looks closely at some of these pictures, one can see that a couple of them are old copies.

The photographer photographed the original (probably Ambrotype) photograph to make copies for a client who probably wanted to share the one of a kind originals without giving them up.

The album is completely full. There are 42 pictures is several sizes.

The binding is coming somewhat loose and there are some minimal tears or spots in the paper.

The red velvet on the outside shows signs of use.

The lock is broken and has missing parts.

My position as dealer is very compatible I have to keep my prices low as possible. There is not that much room for negotiation.

I list hundreds of items every month. Most of them sell pretty quick usually within a 3 month period. But, I don't know if it will sell.
