Superb Antique French majolica Jardiniere signed by Gustave de Bruyn.

This marvelous jardiniere was made around the early 1870s in the north of France at Fives-Lilles.

Gustave de Bruyn settled his pottery factory in 1864 in Fives.

As a very gifted creator, he was naturally awarded a medal at the "Exposition Universelle de Paris" in 1889.

The quality of his products was very high.

This Jardiniere presented here is a perfect example of the works of de Bruyn

The details of the decor are very interesting. The colors are very nice, intense.

This piece is very shiny, and the pictures shows some white marks, it's due to the reflection of the light!

 

This Exclusive piece is in good condition

There are a couple of small old repairs (I have tried to show them in the pictures) as you can see, they are hardly noticeable.

The piece is signed and numbered 4287.

The Jardiniere or planter  measures almost 12" or 30 cm wide by 5 3/4" or 15 cm tall.

My position as dealer is very compatible I have to keep my prices low as possible. There is not that much room for negotiation.

I list hundreds of items every month. Most of them sell pretty quick usually within a 3 month period. But, I don't know if it will sell.
