Large Antique traditional Dutch Costume Kashmir Paisley Shawl Hand Woven Shawl

 This shawl was originally worn as part of the Dutch traditional clothing.

 

These antiques cloths where used to wear over the shoulders to keep the women, in the National Dutch traditional clothing, warm. It was not possible to wear a coat over these costumes.

 

The difference in sizes was because children as well as adults had to be able to wear them.

These cloths, I have are all double sided hand woven.

So if you see any cloths who are just one sided those are not the original

measures approximately 54 x 48 inches without fringes.

This Paisley is made of 100% wool, and dates from about the early 1900s. 

 

The Original Dutch antiques Paisley cloths are double woven, so the back shows the opposite colors from the front.

This fine paisley shawl is fully usable and wearable as intended, or just incredible for interior design.

 

This beautiful Traditional Dutch Paisley cloth gives the illusion of depth through perspective.

It has been woven in the centuries old traditional weaving centers in Europe.

My position as dealer is very compatible I have to keep my prices low as possible. There is not that much room for negotiation.
