This large shawl, with border, was originally worn as part of the Dutch traditional clothing.
This shawl measures approximately 32” x 32” without fringes.
This Kashmir Paisley Shawl is in very good condition.
It was made of wool, and dates from about the early 1900s.
There are no holes and it has not faded.
Original Dutch Antiques paisley cloths are double woven, so the back shows the opposite colors from the front.
This Shawl is fully usable and wearable as intended, or just great to lay over a table or for other forms of interior design.
The pictures might confuse you a little. It
looks like I am showing two different shawls.
This is NOT the case.
The shawls have opposite colors on each side that is why it looks so different.
Don't be fooled by copies of original two sided Paisley shawls.
