Vintage ANRI Hand Carved Wood Bottle stopper Animated Kissing Couple Italian Folk Art 

Nicely detailed hand carved wood Bottle stop.

It dates back to the 1930-40s

The stop measure about 3.1/2” or 9 cm tall without the cork.

ANRI, the world-renowned company founded in 1912 in the Dolomite Mountains of northern Italy.

At home individual craftsmen carved traditional figurines and sold them to ANRI.

Their carvings depicted farmers or concentrated on bottle stoppers.

The subjects were entirely and intricately hand carved and varied from carver to carver so that no subject looked like the other.

Items I offer for sale are general antiques merchandise. They may have normal/typical wear consistent with age.
