This lovely shaped Delft, Holland ewer or pitcher was made in Gouda Holland by: Gewina

Does not have the normal windmills and Dutch houses or flowers.

This piece was made during the Art Nouveau period.

 

(Art nouveau /ɑʀ nuvo/ (French for "new art") is a style in art, architecture and design that peaked in popularity at the beginning of the 20th century. Other, more localized terms for the clusters of reformist chic that formed a prelude to 20th-century modernism, included Jugendstil in Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, named for the avant-garde periodical Jugend ('Youth'), Młoda Polska ('Young Poland' style), or Sezessionsstil ('Secessionism') in Vienna,

The Jugendstil movement in Germany and The Netherlands was very strong. You will you will spot the colors and the long stemmed flowers, in tile mosaics on the side of houses in a large part of Western Europe. But foremost you see them in any kind of pottery made in those days.

This piece was made under the influence of the Jugendstil movement.

The maker even wrote this on the bottom “Gewina” Delft, Jugendstil Hand painted Holland Nl.  

This is Ewer measures 7.5 inches or 19 cm high.

It would have been in mint condition, was if for the unprofessional repair on the sprout. (shown in the pictures)
