Gorgeous One of a kind Large Art Nouveau Ewer by K.G. (Keller Guerin) from Luneville, France between 1900-1920.

This Ewer has an Very unusual Mid Eastern Scene.

This Stunning Ewer measures app. 15" or 38 cm tall at the base is  9 inches in diameter.

and is in very good condition with a minor loss to the gilt trim.

It has some air holes as is not unsuale for the date.

This antique French Fayence Ceramic Ewer has
a wide squat lower body that rises to a long tapering
slender neck and a long gilded handle.

The colors are light blue to Desert yellows

It was all hand painted.

The mark on this faience pitcher dates it between 1900 and 1920.

 

Keller and Guérin was a top manufacturer of high quality French porcelain. The original maker, Jacques Chambrette, who established the factory in Lorraine in Lunéville along the Meuse River, was awarded the Manufacture Royale de Fayence for his fine wares by the Duke of Lorraine in the year 1749.

The porcelain pottery made by K&G Lunéville is known for its fine decoration inspired by the local French countryside. Many pieces are floral in nature, and the colors are similar to the color pallettes used by the French Impressionist painters of the time, who often visited the Alsace Lorraine countryside to paint.
