Antique, Old Bronze Statue of The holy Virgin Mary

 

This  Bronze Metal Ormolu Gilded statue measures only 4 inches 10 cm tall.  

This dates from the mid 1800s to late 1800s.

Found in Belgium.

The figurine is in good condition for this age.

The gold gilding is slowly varnishing from this piece.

It sort of gives it that shabby chic look.

If handled with care this figurine will stand tall for at least another 100-200 years.

Like in most antique stores I can sometimes go to about 10% in giving discounts on items that linger longer on Ebay.

My position as dealer is very compatible I have to keep my prices low as possible. There is not that much room for negotiation.

I list hundreds of items every month. Most of them sell pretty quick usually within a 3 month period. But, I don't know if it will sell.

I often have the “make offer” button placed in the listings, so I do not have to go back every time a listing lingers longer on eBay than usual. It simply is too much work to have to reverse those items.
