THE COMMANDERY-IN-CHIEF, To all to whom these Presents shall Come, Greeting:
Know ye, That Captain Charles Horace Hodskin, 2nd Michigan Infantry, Having been specially distinguished for faithful services in maintaining the honor, integrity, and supremacy of the Government of the United States of America, was recieved as a Companion of the First Class of the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States, on the Third day of March, Anno Domini One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Seven through the Commandery of the State of Michigan. In Testimony Whereof, the names of the proper Officers and the Sealof the Order are hereunto affixed. Given at Philadelphia, this Fifteenth day of March, in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Seven, and of the Independence of the United States of America the One Hundred and Eleventh and of the Order the Twenty Second.
