Twenty years before there was a Tombstone City, there was a silver mine on the side of a mountain in Nevada. One of the miners, Ol' Virginny, missed his home state so much, they named that town Virginia City for him. The Comstock Lode went on to produce silver for years after.
Like Tombstone, Virginia City was rough and woolly, and often produced "A man for breakfast", and one of the most famous watering holes for a thirsty miner was The Bucket of Blood Saloon.
