George Nelson unsigned king size headboard with two narrow bookshelf/nightstands at either side (can be used as 2 separate twins, model nos. 4647 L and 4647R).  Built-in bookshelf storage with two shelves and one pull-out shelf.

Two finished walnut wood cases, set back ebonized  wood plank legs, drop-down button-upholstered backrests which slide up & down to conceal storage space, each piece measuring 56.25” W x 13” D x  39.75” H, overall 112" W.  Original glossy walnut wood and upholstered finishes in very good original condition with only minor, age-appropriate veneer marks.  Ca 1950.
