Occasional light foxing, several of the engraved plates have a slight damp stain to the corner (pre-binding stain) generally very light outside of the engraving.

Full leather binding, tooled with gilt decoration, red title patches, decorated spine, lightly rubbed. A handsome set.

Both volumes have silk book marks bound in, marbled end pages and a.e.g. (all page edges gilt). Contemporary name lightly in ink on the blank end page, "Elizabeth Jones Parry."
