Handsome set bound in half leather with marbled paper over boards, leather
title labels on the spines. Extremities rubbed, occasional unobtrusive
contemporary name on end page. There is a chip to the leather on the spine of
volume four; the leather at the top right side of the spine is separating on
volume twelve. Wants professional book repair.
Volume
twelve and the index of the History of Europe are bound together.
The
Atlas includes A Concise Vocabulary of Military and Marine Terms.
