minor edge tears and light foxing. Occasional paper loss to the back of the
dust jacket. There is a small piece of tape at the top of the d/j spine. The
book is very clean.
Inscribed to Newsweek journalist Ernest K. Lindley:
"To my good friend Ernest K.
Lindley from Bill Laurence." on the front end page.

Pulitzer Prize winner wrote the first story about atomic fission. Laurence was the only journalist aboard the
