Each volume has a pierced library marking on the title page with a faint withdrawn stamp; bookplate and numbers on the spines. Ex-Lib: The Smith Library, Franklin, N. H. The First Unitarian Congregational Society, est. 1880. There are some old tape reinforcement to several spines and a couple of the volumes have some chipping. There is some damp staining to the text in a couple of volumes (v.8 & 10). In volume 12 the text is separated between pages 224 & 225. Overall this is a clean set. 9-3/8 Inches. First Edition. Hard cover. Overall clean, very good condition.
