“Washington Taking Leave Of The Officers Of The Army, At Francis’s Tavern,
Broad Street, New York, Dec. 4th, 1783. “With a heart full of love
and gratitude, I now take leave of you. I must devoutly wish that your latter
days may be as prosperous and happy, as your former ones have been glorious and
honorable.”” Uniformly age toned. There is a 1/8 x ¼ inch chip inside the upper
left margin (the tiny missing piece is present and attached to an accompanying piece
of backing board.) The bottom edge of the print has been trimmed. Overall very
good condition.
