(8, rue Francois Ier, Paris). 29 Mai 1898. - - - Contained in the May 29th, 1898 issue of Le Pelerin, this foldout plate depicts the repulse of American forces attempting to land at Cienfuegos, Cuba. In the upper right corner there is an inset view of a Spanish artillery shell exploding on an American warship. This issue also includes a full page (p.16) map of the theatre of war and two pages of vignette illustrations dealing with American fervor for the war and the British-American perspective on it.
