Also inscribed on the front end page by Walter M Pratt "To Col. William M. Chadbourne ... 1941."

The spine is separated from the front cover, masking tape applied at the bottom from the front cover to the back. Extremities rubbed.

The Foreword is by Courtney Riley Cooper whose suicide was reported in The Southeast Missourian, Sept. 30, 1940, in New York City shortly after a meeting in Washington, D. C. with J. Edgar Hoover. Cooper "Circus fan #1," a journalist and author stated: Jack is an integral part of every rodeo and stampede where the "Cow Gang" gathers.
