The
Foreword is by Courtney Riley Cooper whose suicide was reported in The
Southeast Missourian, Sept. 30, 1940, in New York City shortly after a meeting
in Washington, D. C. with J. Edgar Hoover. Cooper "Circus fan #1," a
journalist and author stated: Jack is an integral part of every rodeo and
stampede where the "Cow Gang" gathers.
