The ABI 341 Genepure Nucleic Acid Purification System simplifies the process of DNA purification from CVS and direct amniotic fluid.  ABI's 341 Genepure enhances consistency and reliability for small sample extraction while reducing the chance of sample mix up or exposure to harmful contaminants.  The 341 offers two automated chemistry options: standard and Fast cycle.  These cycles are optimal for small samples of DNA that are suitable for both PCR and Southern blot analysis. CVS and amniotic fluid are also good candidates for the Fast Cycle because of their small sample size and relatively low protein content.
