Here we have a beautiful 7 over 8 tail feathers 1878-P Morgan Silver Dollar with strong AU details. This is the rarest one produced by the mint in 1878. The tail feathers on the reverse have a doubled effect because it originally had 8 tail feathers before it was given 7. This is the first year the Morgan Dollar was minted and is a key date commanding premiums.
