Here we have a beautiful 1827 Capped Bust Silver Half Dollar! This coin has a very nice original tone (patina) and color. It has very strong details in the hair with full ribbon and clasp and has very little wear to the high points of the coin. The reverse has a very strong strike and excellent detail on the eagle. The "1" in the date looks like the result of possibly a weak strike near the date as it appears very faint. Possible error? Overall, this coin has beautiful detail with original toning and stunning eye appeal....A real gem. CHECK THE PHOTOS!
