Great  Vintage Kippers Serving Dish
Serve your herring in STYLE!

Very vintage Barker Bros Unity Pewter lid and tray designed to use the kipper container as part of the service. Has a lid that measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/8" with an inner "lip" that measures 2 3/4" x 4 3/8" that snugs into the top edge of the fish container
The bottom tray measures 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" with an inner area that measures 3 1/2" x 5"
I do not know if the current kipper containers are still the same dimensions as in the past (since I don't eat them myself!)

The lid features a very detailed 2 1/2" herring handle complete with gills, scales and fins.

This is a great old piece that will be sure to make a statement!
Has a couple dark spots. Being this piece is so old and unsure of what method is best, I only used soap & water to wash. The spots that are there seem to be surface spots only.
