Heisey 6 Panel Petal Type Bowl Marked with Diamond H for Heisey - Made by Imperial - Circa 1958-68 Measures approx 4" Tall x 6 1/2" Diameter Very elegant glass bowl that is a fairly deep color of Amethyst. Hard to take a picture to get the exact coloring but shows up as a nice amethyst color when in a brighter light. I tried to take photos in different lighting so you can see the variance in color. I looked all over to find this pattern and another eBayer has very kindly explained to me the history of this particular mold. Please keep in mind that even though this is a Heisey Mold, the bowl itself was made by Imperial Glass Co between 1958 & 1968. The only thing I see that may or may not be considered a flaw is a divot (as shown) that looks that it happened during manufacturing. Other than that I see no flea bites, chips or cracks. Overall very fine condition. Weighs about 2 1/4 pounds (thick walls)
