Very Nice Silver Plate Covered Vegetable Dish with Divided Insert   Simple lines - Multi use - Stamped lightly on the back   Sheridan Silver was a very prolific designer of silverplate. They had an extensive line of patterns that would blend in well with many of the more specialized pieces from other makers. This particular serving dish would work well with any of the florals resembling open petal flowers   Measures 11 1/2" long x 8 1/2" wide x 3" tall Liner is 8 3/4" long x 6 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep   Multi use piece - vegetables, vegetable & sauce, remove the glass and use for asparagus and so forth.   Just a very nice, clean piece, signed on the bottom Sheridan   Minimal markings from past use and some rubs from the glass insert inside the bottom of the shell.
