CLOUD WALTZING - 1987 - Journalist Meredith Tolliver is sent to do a story on wealthy wine vineyard owner Francois De Paul. (Unreleased on DVD, the VHS sells between $10-$20 on ebay and amazon)
THE GIRL IN THE PICTURE - 1986 - Alan and Mary are pretty miserable together and split up. As an very
presentable Glaswegian photographer Alan soon has chances to find
consolation elsewhere, but more and more thinks of Mary. She however
seems a lot less keen to try again. (Unreleased on DVD)
THE OBJECT OF MY AFFECTION - 1998 - Rated R - Jennifer Aniston - A pregnant New York social worker begins to develop romantic feelings
for her gay best friend, and decides she'd rather raise her child with
him, much to the dismay of her overbearing boyfriend.
LILAC DREAM - 1987 - The story of a young woman alone on an island and a young man washed
ashore from a shipwreck. She nurses him back to health, falling in love
with him along the way. (Unreleased on DVD)
RETURN TO PAYTON PLACE - 1961 - The residents of Peyton Place, New Hampshire, are not happy when its
most famous resident, Alison Mackenzie, writes a "shocking" novel
detailing the sinful secrets of the town.
LAMBADA - 1990 - Kevin Laird is a Beverly Hills school teacher by day and a mystery man by night.
THE ROSE CAFE - 1987 - The best realized of the Shades of Love series, Rose Cafe is a charming
small story about Courtney Fairchild (Linda Smith) finding romance with a
former love (Parker Stevenson) on the eve of both her marraige to another
and
the opening of her hearts dream, the Rose Cafe restaurant. (Unreleased on DVD, the VHS sold for $12 on ebay last month)
CUPID & CATE - 2000 - Peter Gallagher - Cate has a small boutique where she sells vintage clothes. She is
dating some snob whose mother thinks that Cate is a second class
citizen because of her line of work. Harry meets Cate and they fall in
love instantly. Francesca is a doctor who finds out that he has cancer,
and tells Cate so that she would break up with Harry.
CHAMPAGNE FOR TWO - 1987 - Shades of Love: Champagne for Two is a light, entertaining love story with
an interesting plot surprise (near the) beginning. The issue of different
career interests and scheduling is the focus of this story with it ending
that they are able to accept their differences without asking one another
for drastic changes.
