great looking knife,I guess the grip and sheath were called ox blood ,it isn't exactly black or brown,has the U.S stamp conferming it was made before 1974 as after that date only stated camillus NY, sheath stitching and rivets perfect, no rips tears seperation, handle nice and tight, blade point great no bends in blade, top of blade near point not shapened as most are and wreck collector value.7 rivet sheath. factory hole at end of sheath for leg strap,snap brass and snaps great, some thing you would look at and know it's a relic of our past in combat and think what a waste of our guy's but proud of there bravery, I am donating a portion of the sale to wounded war veterans of america,so feel free to buy it now...thanx for looking GSGT Mair,U.S.M.C......Semper Fi
