The SPX OTC Ready Scan is a low cost diagnostic tool that visually and audibly indicates when a vehicle’s readiness monitors have been reset. Designed as a post-repair diagnostic tool that informs the driver performing the drive cycle under normal driving conditions when the readiness monitors have been reset to a Ready position.

The OTC Ready Scan easily determines a vehicle’s readiness status for a state required OBD II test,  The compact tool works on all 1996 and newer On-Board Diagnostics (including CAN compliant) vehicles.

Performing a drive cycle is required after any emissions related repair. Ready Scan eliminates the guesswork by enabling any driver or customer to perform the drive cycle under normal driving conditions.

Ready Scan Readiness Monitor Tool

• Connects to the vehicle_s DLC / OBD II Connector Port (generally under the dash)
• Has bright Green and Red LEDs quickly display readiness status
  Green LED = Vehicle is Ready
  Red LED = Tool is communicating with vehicle
• Provides an audible tone sounds for 2 seconds, every 5 minutes when vehicle becomes ready
• Has a factory set readiness criteria default set to all but one (1) monitor not ready as long as it is not the catalytic converter. This criteria enables the vehicle to be ready for a retest of a state required OBD II test.
