The minimum insurance fee for values under $50 is only $1.70. Canadian and international customers either use the rate calculator or contact me for a postage quote. Insurance is now available for off-shore mailings.  We pack very well and usually ship within 24 hrs. after payment is received. There is a handling fee of 50¢ - $1.50 included in the shipping cost of every item. The actual amount is determined by the price range, size and/or  fragility of the item being shipped. The purpose is to help cover the cost of packing & shipping materials.
